Luisa, a young volcanologist, is sent to a villa to install the technical instruments to survey Mount Vesuvius. Here she meets Mariano, a member of the camorra, that has just discovered that he has been betrayed he decided to break off completely from those he considered his friends. Luisa and Mariano have nothing in common except for a deep sense of the failure they are experiencing and which attracts them to each other. Between the young woman, exploited and disillusioned by an ambitious colleague, and the mature ex-criminal, the spark of friendship is kindled.

Five episodes which show Italian peoples pathological unfaithfulness in marriage.

On an island in the middle of the ocean, inhabited by nine elderly people, including the ancient wizard Lucanòr, no one remembers what children are. One day, however, a boat carrying a group of helpless shipwrecked children arrives on this piece of land surrounded by the sea. Will the children manage to gain respect? Who will help them?

The film is about two worlds, different and parallel, living together in the same territory: the Gran Sasso of Italy. The contact between the two realities occurs through the characters of Max, a nuclear physics researcher who works tirelessly in the laboratory located in the belly of the mountain, and the shepherd Bajram. In fact, the shepherd walks on the physicist's head but neither of them knows it. Inside the laboratory the most advanced craft of mankind is being developed, above the mountain, on the other hand, there are poor immigrants doing the oldest work in the world. Gran Sasso is, according to the director, the synthetic image of globalization.

The nature is the real protagonist of this independent production film. Giovanni's mother passes away and Giovanni returns to the house he grew up in. We know that Giovanni's father killed himself when Giovanni was a child. In a the piece of land in the woods owned to his father, Giovanni meets Elena and involves her in his way of getting back his father's memory. The mystery and fascinating space of the woods will associate with Giovanni in his research of the tales about the nature that his father told him when he was a child. Giovanni will live some extraordinary and disturbing events, which will culminate in a dramatic and revealing end.
